This article is the second in a series that deals with Business Blogging and Corporate Blogging. The idea was given to me by the participants at the JCI World Congress in Antalya.
A business blog is first and foremost a blog (if you don’t know what a blog is, read here). Second, its subject is a business or a company, economics or anything similar.
Business blogs can be classified in several ways:
External business/corporate blogs:
- Presentation blog
- Marketing blog
- Branding blog
- PR blog
Internal blogs:
- Company culture promotion blog
- Ideas blog
- Project/Team blog
These are the main business blog categories. To find out what these blogs can do for your business/company, come tomorrow for another article.

I’m really interested in your next post and I hope it will be about PR blog and company culture promotion blog. Maybe you give us some links regarding this specific area.
Anyway it’s really interesting, can’t wait for more….:)
Thanks, mini, for the interest. I will try to give more and more details on business and corporate blogging, but I will try to first cover the basics, so we can all know what we are talking about.
I hope you will stick here for longer.
Of course I will stick arround. But I can’t say patience is my middle name
By the way…you’re famous at the University. I heard about you from my PR teacher and that’s how I’ve become interested in your work.
[...] most common type of business/corporate blog right now is the external blog, be it a promotion, PR, marketing or product presentation [...]
mini: I have been invited to speak at a Seminar at FJSC yesterday, were you there?
