Yeah, I finally visited Troy. I wanted to do that since I was a child, reading The Greek Myths. Characters like Achilles, Odysseus, Paris were parts of my childhood, so to actually walk the roads of Troy was something unique.
The city was a lot smaller than I expected, but I had a lot of fun walking around the ruins and listening to Tudor moaning about not wanting to stay longer.
We left for Kusadasi next. As usual, we got lost at some point, but some guy really helped us. Thank you, Effendi! His licence plate was 35 TCP 45, a Nissan Pickup.
Kusadasi is a nice town, with a great view at the sea. We walked around for several hours and the went to the hotel and finally to bed.
Next day, we left for Antalya, but on the way we visited the hot springs at Pamukkale (something you should not miss if you get here).
I am quite short in this post, but I got problems with the photo gallery and I do want to make it work until tomorrow.
Later edit: HERE, some photos.
